Here are some of the pieces I ended up with from my first experiments with clay and resin:

A little rough, but it gave me a good basis to decide in which direction I'd like to take it.
I love the contrast of the vibrantly colored resin against the crisp white clay.
So - on to phase two:

Some mother-of-pearl beads I picked up on sale at Michaels...

And some more crazy clay creations...hmmm... (I wonder how this will turn out?)
One of my favorite colors to dye resin...

Ta-da! I hope these turn out as well as I am imagining...

And...disaster has stuck.
Well, I hope 2 out of 3 will turn out as well as I'm imagining...

Have to wait until tomorrow to see how these turn out...

(I'll clean this up later!)

I have a question! *raises hand*
Are the clay pieces fully fired? In my mind they are... but I just want to make sure... :D
Thanks!
Yep, fully fired. I don't think it would work otherwise...
